  I went in to bring back a defective phone I bought 3 days earlier. I told them when I came in I needed a new one and waited for half an hour just for the guy to tell me it actually wasn’t possible for me to exchange a phone at ATT and that I would have to make an appointment at the Apple store. I went to the Apple store for my appointment, waited over an hour but was never helped, and I never got a new phone. My 30 day period expired and I was told I no longer could return it (even though I tried 3 days after returning it). After speaking with customer service, I found out the idiot who helped me had given me false information and was fully capable of giving me a new phone in the store. He told me it was "AT&T's policy" but he was SO totally incorrect, AT&T sent me a brand new upgraded phone and let me keep the one I already had.
